Distractions, Distractions

Okay, I really need to focus today. I have a ton of stuff to do, and not enough time to do it in. First, though, I need a cup of coffee…

Now, to work. I want to write a blog post about something really important. I don’t remember what I was thinking about, but I remember I thought of it after I saw this link on Facebook, so I guess I need to go there and find it… Boy, all my friends are doing way more interesting stuff than I am right now. Oh, I should catch up on my Words With Friends games before someone nudges me… Ohmygoodness, what a sweet video of dogs welcoming home their Marine dad! I have to watch it again…

Okay, I really have to get back to work. Shoot, my coffee’s cold. And I never did find that link. Where’s my To-Do list? Ooh, you know what I’ve been meaning to look up for two weeks now? Who’s playing that Liam Cunningham producer character on Nashville, because he looks so familiar. You know, that will drive me crazy. I should just go look it up on IMDB.com now… Okay, that character is played by Michiel Huisman, who played Sonny on Treme. Got it. That’s why he looks so familiar…

That’s it. I’m really ready now. I remember what it was I was going to write about. The mental juices are flowing; now I just need to transfer it from the brain to the page. Except that the phone is ringing now, and I need to answer it because it might be the school about one of the kids…

Robocall. What was I thinking about?
